Vehicle Inspector FHX Hoofddorp

As a Vehicle Inspector at Sixt you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage at the end of their rental period. Your expertise helps reduce costs through accurate damage assessments and by disputing unnecessary repair charges submitted by external parties.

This is a Benelux-wide position where youll closely collaborate with various partners to optimize cost levels.

What youll be doing:

• Vehicle inspection and damage assessment: Youll carry out thorough inspections of vehicles both in person at fleet compounds and digitally. Youll assess damage in accordance with standards such as the RENTA and TES guidelines using platforms like Macadam and Fleetbox.
• Cost optimization: Youll contribute to cost savings by conducting counter-assessments (second opinions) on damage reports submitted by third parties.
• Invoicing and administration: Youll process related invoices and work closely with the Benelux Repair Manager to monitor and optimize costs at the brand level.
• Reporting and analysis: Youll prepare clear reports on damages and repair costs to support effective cost management within the organization.
• Expert role in the Benelux: Besides inspections youll also provide advice and perform counter-assessments across the region.

Your profile:

• At least 3 years of experience in the automotive industry with a focus on vehicle inspections and damage management.
• Familiarity with end-of-lease standards like the RENTA and TES guidelines is required.
• Experience with administrative damage assessment systems such as Macadam.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
