Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with data science leads across Asia Pacific to understand their business requirements translate them into actionable data science projects and deliver solutions that address business needs.
• Communicate complex data science concepts and insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders ensuring alignment on goals and outcomes.

Project & Resource Management

• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of data science projects including scoping planning execution and delivery.
• Allocate resources efficiently across multiple projects and prioritize initiatives based on business impact.

Technical Expertise & Collaboration

• Act as a technical expert guiding the team in building and deploying advanced analytics predictive models and machine learning solutions.
• Collaborate closely with the data engineering team to ensure seamless integration of data pipelines scalable infrastructure and efficient workflows.

Innovation & Best Practices

• Drive the adoption of best practices in data science methodologies coding standards and model deployment strategies.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the team remains ahead of the curve

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications :

Education:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science Statistics or a related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
• 12 years of experience in data science including 3 years in a leadership or management role with proven track record of strong people and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven track record of delivering impactful data science projects in a cross-functional and geographically dispersed environment.

Technical Skills:

• Strong programming skills in Python R or similar languages.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with big data tools (e.g. Spark Hadoop).
• Expertise in machine learning statistical modeling and data visualization tools.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong project management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
