Job Summary
Broad Function and Purpose of Position:
To ensure Injection Mold production efficiency through process design and development and direct production support.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Interact with the Quality and Tooling groups to resolve defects and mold issues.
- Experience with DSC TMA and data interpretation regarding incoming raw materials.
- Develop design and setup injection molding processes systems work stations and automation equipment.
- Troubleshoot injection molding processes and hot runner manifold balancing. Train lead people setup people and supervisors on injection molding processes.
- Interact with the Maintenance and technical groups to help troubleshoot injection systems develop preventive maintenance programs. And develop spare parts identification and systems.
- Develop work instructions for injection molding processes and systems and conduct training as appropriate.
- Monitor and audit injection molding systems for any non-conformance with the process.
- Support efforts of the company such as continuous improvement teams training and production floor support.
- Efficient in documenting process trials with high level of detail and accuracy.
- PLC and frequency drive background a plus.
- Experience with molding PA type materials.
Qualifications :
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field and/or 10 years of experience in Injection Molding.
- Years Experience: 10-15 years Injection Molding Processing and automation experience.
- Strong SPC orientation. Proficient with PC software (Microsoft Office)
- Highly organized. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent internal and external relationships with all levels of management.
