Job Summary
Job Title: Cath Lab/Endovascular Technician Dual Modality
Location: Rapid City SD
Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable)
Shift: 4x10 Hours / Nights
Pay Rate: $4046 per week (Gross)
Job Summary:
The Cath Lab/Endovascular Technician Dual Modality provides specialized support for endovascular and cardiac procedures in a hybrid OR setting. The role involves assisting cardiothoracic surgeons during complex cases ensuring patient safety and maintaining accurate documentation within EMR systems.
Responsibilities:
Assist cardiothoracic surgeons during endovascular and catheterization procedures.
Operate and maintain hybrid OR equipment for dual-modality procedures.
Prepare procedure rooms and ensure all necessary instruments and supplies are ready.
Monitor patient status and support clinical staff during interventions.
Document procedures and patient care accurately in EMR systems (EPIC preferred).
Maintain adherence to sterile technique safety protocols and infection control standards.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Skills & Experience:
Experience performing endovascular procedures with cardiothoracic surgeons.
Proficiency in hybrid OR settings.
Experience working with EPIC EMR.
Strong communication critical thinking and teamwork abilities.
Licenses & Certifications:
Active RT or equivalent OR certification.
RCIS certification required.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Education:
Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology Cardiovascular Technology or related field required.
