Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton is looking for a part-time Driver!

Summary:

Performs all aspects of transporting residents to/from doctors appointments outings in the community and other trips as assigned.

Essential Job Duties:

Performs pre-trip inspection to verify that the vehicle is in proper working order.
Assists with the safe loading and unloading of residents upon departure and arrival to/from the desired location. Assists with transporting residents into the building as well.
Drives the vehicle to/from the desired location in accordance with all applicable rules of the road.
Maintains an adequate amount of gasoline in the vehicle at all times and may perform other minor vehicle maintenance.
Reports any vehicle malfunctions or problems to the Director of Environmental Services.
Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicles by discarding any litter vacuuming and washing as needed.
Maintains a calendar of all upcoming appointments.
Maintains a log book of all time spent on trips.

Qualifications:

Must have an excellent driving record
Positive attitude and caring approach required
Hours vary depending on need with no set amount of hours (typically 0-10 hours weekly). Shifts occur weekdays between the hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm with occasional weekend hours as needed.

Physical Demands:

Occasional walking standing sitting bending stooping and reaching
Occasional lifting and pushing/pulling up to 50lbs.
Occasional exposure to various undesirable environmental and hazardous elements
