Position Details:

Location:Rochester NY

Hours: 6am-2:30pm Mon-Fri (some overtime possible)

Pay:$19.00-$22.00/hr

Duration:One year contract position with an opportunity of being temp to hire.

Who Were Looking For:

Candidates with the ability to build noncomplex optical / electrical / mechanical sub-assemblies within quality requirements. This person should be reliable and detail oriented.

What to Expect as a Assember:

Follow standard work processes as provided
Ability to build Digital Radiography equipment and associate sub-assemblies within quality requirements.
This position will require carefully unpacking/dis-assembling parts and equipment. Then packing/re-assembly as per work instructions.
Accurately records data and provides input / feedback during team discussions.
Provide input or feedback during team discussions
Engage with team members and work effectively with others
Operates with direct supervisory support.
Comply with all company policies & regulations

Qualifications for Success:

HS Diploma or GED/HSE or 1 years of Manufacturing/Assembly experience
Electrical or Mechanical Assembly experiencepreferred
Familiarity with small hand tools
Decision making and problem-solving skills
Be organized and have excellent attention to detail
Knowledge of safety lean manufacturing and process improvement is helpful
Basic computer skills
