Job Summary
Responsible for providing spiritual care to patients families visitors and staff. Patients are seen at the bedside or in outpatient settings as assigned. Involved in all aspects of care including but not limited to team meetings family meetings and goal discussions. Staff support is provided through 1:1 encounters and group gatherings in the units and other locations as needed. Also charged with developing and leading hospital-wide and community faith-specific and interfaith services. Work as team members in accordance with the departments mission and vision statements.Qualifications

Experience in a hospital setting or relevant spiritual ministry pastoral congregational or other relevant experience 2-3 years required
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Maintains current knowledge of regulations pertaining to the delivery of Hospice services and conducts team operations in a manner to be in compliance with such regulations.
- Maintains and demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of bereavement principles practices standards and techniques and applies this knowledge in accordance with St.
- Knowledge of various religious practices health care ethics grief and bereavement counseling techniques with hospice families and excellent work organization skills.
- Two or more units of Clinical Pastoral Education from an accredited ACPE or NACC training program preferred.
- Proficient at multitasking and having a high level of problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates resiliency with matters of death and dying.
- Excellent listening and verbal communication skills.
