About the role

As Managing Director of Pliant you are an entrepreneurial growth-oriented leader with a feel for the international offshore world.

As MD you will take over the daily leadership from founder Alex Heurkens. You are responsible for our organization (currently 10 FTE and rapidly growing) and have a unique opportunity to further develop Pliant Offshore.

You are an experienced MD. Your time is balanced between leading our organization in Breda and maintaining and expanding our (international) network. You attend global trade shows and events visit offshore clients and are the face of Pliant Offshore in the market.

Your main responsibilities:

• Leading teams/specialists in Sales Marketing Operations Finance and HR.

• Playing an active commercial role including international travel to visit clients network and attend events and trade shows.

• Strategy formation and execution: guiding the organization in its growth development.

• Setting monitoring and adjusting organizational goals and P&L responsibility.

• Monitoring and managing financial insights and activities such as subsidy balance insurance etc.

• Development of both our people and our organization.

• Weekly project meetings with project leaders on progress and budget.

• Weekly meetings with production regarding progress.

• Ultimately responsible for all our certification internal and external audits (such as ISO) improvement processes and Risk Inventory & Evaluation (RI&E).
