As a Product Designer on the Zillow Elevate team you are responsible for working with designers product managers marketers and engineers to propose design iterate and deliver outstanding customer experiences. This role requires a versatile designer with a high standard for visual craft attuned to moments of brand expression & value proposition.
We are looking for a versatile and talented Product Designer to create beautiful brand partner ad designs and amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate will be able to translate high-level requirements into polished mocks produce prototypes and collateral as well as create functional user experiences across multiple webpages. As part of the Elevate team this role supports Sales with design needs for proposals and Product efforts across the platform.
You Will Get To:
Collaborate with sales and product marketing to design and develop brand partner visuals and experiences
Collaborating with cross functional teams such as product management and engineering to define design and implement innovative solutions for all visual elements of the platform
Present design work and regularly engage with partners for feedback
Participate in design activities including journey mapping prototyping and user research
Learn about and advocate for customer needs throughout the design process
Deliver high-quality work on time and develop skills
Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
Present design work and regularly engage with peers and partners for feedback
Conduct user research analyze and evaluate user feedback
Establish and promote design guidelines best practices and standards
In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience performance and location.
Who you are
5-7 years as a product designer visual designer or similar role
Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering product marketing)
Experience participating in primary user research and discovery activities as well as quantitative survey data analysis
Experience developing ideas that address customer and business problems
Experience in creating wireframes storyboards user flows process flows and site maps
Proficient using Figma and design prototyping tools
Experience working with AI to craft designs
Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills and the ability to articulate your design decisions
Passionate about solving complex problems in simple elegant ways and delivering a delightful user experience
Ability to manage ambiguity work independently and collaboratively within a team and switch rapidly between different projects in a fast-paced environment
Experience designing for advertising or background in advertising a plus
Knowledge or experience of social media ads/content and video trends is a plus
Experience in digital advertising/tech or home-related markets is a plus
