Permanent Full-Time Contract
(35 Hours Per Week)
Salary: 85747- 106660* (LSI) (August 2025 HSE PayScale)

Avista is a person-centered rights-based organisation that is dedicated to improving the lives of children with disabilities and adults with intellectual disabilities. We provide a wide range of services including Day Residential and Respite supports in various locations across counties Dublin Meath Limerick Tipperary and Offaly.
Avista is looking for an energetic dynamic innovative and solution-focused person who can lead out on strategic and operational management for the Dublin Service. The ACEO will hold strong values and believe passionately in the fundamental human rights of each individual to live a good life of their own choosing with appropriate supports.
As part of the Executive Management Team the ACEO will lead and direct the ongoing development and transformation of services in the Dublin region partnering with multiple stakeholders and managing in a complex and demanding regulatory framework. Reporting to the CEO the ACEO will make a proactive corporate contribution to the strategic development of Avista.
Essential Criteria.
- An appropriate 3rd level qualification (at least level 8 or equivalent) in a nursing social care or allied health profession.
- Demonstrate extensive relevant experience at senior level of managing service provision within the Disability Sector.
- Public Sector experience.
- Previous experience and understanding of national policies standards and regulations that impact on the Disability Sector.
- Successful track record of planning and delivering major organizational change programs and driving strategic objectives.
- Proven track record in the provision of robust governance and management systems.
- Extensive knowledge of Adult Intellectual Disability Services/ Childrens Disability Network Teams Services (Residential Day and Respite)
- Demonstrate evidence of effective planning and organisation skills within the context of Value for Money.
- Demonstrate excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Full drivers license and access to vehicle.
