Job Summary
Job Description: Senior Piping/Welding Inspector (Offshore)
Job Title: Senior Piping/Welding Inspector (Offshore)
Project Duration: Minimum 1 year (extendable based on performance and project requirements).
Deployment: Within a month / 40 days.
Rotation: 30 days on / 14 days off.
Location: Offshore Qatar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of piping fabrication installation and welding activities to ensure compliance with project codes and standards.
- Monitor welding procedures welder qualifications and all aspects of piping system integrity.
- Verify that all piping and welding activities adhere strictly to Qatargas Specifications.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections and review related documentation.
- Report on quality compliance and non-conformances.
Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in piping/welding inspection with direct experience working to Qatargas Specifications.
- Mandatory Certification:
- CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certification or an accepted alternative.
- Preferred Certifications (Advantageous):
- Coating Certification (e.g. BGAS NACE).
- NDT Certification.
- Must possess or be able to obtain mandatory offshore safety certifications:
- Valid Offshore Medical Certificate.
- H2S and TBOSIET / BOSIET training
