Job Description
Guidewire Software Developer
Accountabilities:
Perform analysis advanced level design development configuration and testing for Guidewire platform solutions
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Management Information Systems or a related field or equivalent work experience.
Relevant certifications (e.g. Guidewire Certified Associate Guidewire Certified Specialist or Lead EnterpriseEngage Developer) are a plus.
5 years of experience in Information Technology
3 years development experience in at least one Guidewire InsuranceSuite application v10: PolicyCenter or ClaimCenter
Demonstrated experience with:
o Gosu language configuration and coding using Guidewire tools and accelerators batch process and predefined plugins
o Java
o SQL
o Agile software development (using Git Bitbucket Jenkins Jira etc.)
Experience with integrations including knowledge of REST APIs messaging frameworks and third-party system integrations
Expertise in incident management troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Prior experience in Property & Casualty Insurance including multi-product insurance platforms across personal and commercial lines is strongly preferred.
