Teaching Assistant EYFS & KS1

Location: Acton CE Primary Academy Acton Nantwich CW5 8LG
Contract Type: Full-time Term Time Only Temporary in the first instance until 31/8/26
Salary: Dependent upon experience

Are you passionate about supporting young children in their early learning journey We are seeking a dedicated and nurturingTeaching Assistantto join our caring primary school team working primarily with children inReception Year 1 and Year 2.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide in-class support to pupils across EYFS and KS1 helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
Assist in delivering high-quality phonics early maths activities and engaging them in wider learning experiences.
Support childrens emotional well-being and social development through positive relationships and nurturing interactions.
Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to create a safe inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Be willing to undertakefirst aid trainingand contribute to the overall care and safety of pupils.

What Were Looking For:

Experience working with young children ideally in a school or early years setting.
Knowledge of phonics programmes (we use Read Write Inc.) and early maths strategies is a strong advantage.
A caring kind patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting childrens learning and development.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
A team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
