Job Summary
Cedar Park Group is hiring an experienced and safety-conscious Equipment Operator for commercial construction projects near Rochester NY. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience operating a variety of heavy machinery including dozers and excavators. This position requires proven skill precision and commitment to safe and efficient site operations.
Position Overview:
The Equipment Operator will perform excavation grading and site preparation work on commercial construction projects. The role involves operating multiple types of equipment and ensuring all work meets job specifications site safety standards and production goals.
Requirements (Mandatory & Desired):
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator on commercial projects
Proficient in operating dozers and excavators (experience with multiple brands preferred)
OSHA 10 certification (required)
Strong understanding of jobsite safety protocols and equipment maintenance
Ability to read site plans and follow directions accurately
Reliable transportation and ability to report on time daily
Responsibilities:
Operate dozers excavators and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
Perform grading trenching and excavation work per site requirements
Conduct pre-operation equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
Follow safety procedures and communicate hazards to the site supervisor
Work collaboratively with crew members to ensure timely project completion
Maintain a clean and organized work area
