$140000 $165000/year Generous Benefits
MondayFriday Daytime Hours Only 9am-5pm
Are you a passionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner looking to make a meaningful impact in an underserved community
Our non-profit healthcare client in the Bronx is seeking a skilled PMHNP to join their team this role youll work in a supportive team-based environment focused on delivering compassionate high-quality behavioral health services to diverse populations.
What Youll Do
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and initiate psychotherapeutic interventions
- Collaborate with psychiatrists medical providers and care teams
- Order labs review results and make appropriate referrals
- Provide mental health education to patients and families
- Document all care in a modern EMR system
What Were Looking For
- Masters in Nursing from an accredited program
- Active NYS RN and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner licenses
- DEA registration ACLS certification
- 1 year of experience as a practicing PMHNP in a psychiatric or hospital setting (ambulatory care preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and EMR documentation
- Excellent interpersonal communication and critical thinking skills
- Passion for team-based community-focused care
