The Team

Within Payment & Settlement Services Architecture we are looking for a newArchitect. You will be joining a diverse and experienced team of 30 architects of different backgrounds and nationalities working closely with both Business and Technology colleagues to realize our global ambitions. The team is distributed across Belgium Netherlands Romania and Philippines. You will be based in Amsterdam and support INGs international services. This position will have its focus onLiquidity Management and Operations while also contributing cross-domain in the broader Payments & Settlement area.

Roles and Responsibilities

As an Architect you will:

• Define and drive thestrategic architecture vision and roadmapsfor Liquidity Management and Operations aligned with INGs global payments strategy.
• Create and maintainreference architectures principles and standardsthat guide solution and domain architects across PSS.
• Providestrategic guidanceon the evolution of Liquidity Management and Operations (resiliency security).
• Influence andalign business and technology strategyacross multiple domains.
• Act asarchitectural lead on key programs ensuring alignment with target state architecture and long-term vision.
• Partner withbusiness product owners senior stakeholders CTOs/CIOs as well as domain and solution architects.
• Support teams bysimplifying complexityand ensuring designs are scalable resilient and regulatory compliant.
• Be willing todive into detail and explore technical optionswhen needed while leveraging engineers and specialists for deep expertise.
• Represent ING inexternal industry working groups(e.g. Swift ISO 20022) where relevant.

• Someone who can think big picture but alsoroll up sleeves when necessaryto ensure proposals are practical and realizable.

Requirements

• 10 years of relevant experience with a proven track record as anArchitectinlarge regulated environments(preferably financial institutions).
• Strong knowledge ofpayments liquidity management and treasure operations.
• Proven experience withresilience and security.
• Knowledge ofevent-driven architecture APIs and messaging platforms(Kafka Pulsar) is strongly valued.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills; able to engage with both business and technology leaders.
• ArchiMate certified or willing to obtain certification before joining.
• Bachelors degree in computer science information systems business administration or related field.
• Familiarity with architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF) and agile delivery environments (certifications are a plus not mandatory).
