Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions ensuring timely and accurate billing and following up on outstanding payments. As part of the Accounts Receivable work unit you will provide an efficient and effective accounts receivable service to client agencies issuing invoices processing receipts and operating as part of the finance team in the management of Accounts Receivable role will work closely with other departments to ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded and reported. This position is being offered on a permanent full-time basis working Monday Friday 5 days per week.

About you:

  • Knowledge of Xero is highly desirable.
  • Background in accounting finance or a related discipline
  • Able to manage high-volume transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders

Other requirements

  • National Police Check.
  • Northern Territory (Working with Children) Ochre Card.
  • Minium C class drivers licence.
  • Northern Land Council Work permit (with assistance)
