The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) Organization is looking for an Entry-Level Flight Test Engineer in Berkeley MO for the F18 and F15 flight test programs.
Position Responsibilities:
Plan Author and Coordinate various modifications across different teams and different sites
Work and manage different programs concurrently
Support the maintenance team with flight preparation sheets as required per maintenance
Support distributed test operations as required
Plan and coordinate flight test mission requirements with responsible engineers from internal and external customers
Develop flight test and mission profiles develop and publish test plans create flight test cards and manage test schedules
Identify and coordinate the availability of test ranges and facilities with company and government agencies
Establish test planning working groups plan and conduct flight test readiness reviews and conduct pre and post-test briefings
Conduct ground and flight tests in accordance with established test plans and procedures
Participate in post-test data evaluation and problem identification and resolution
Prepare and publish test summaries and test reports
Lead and prepare for remote site deployments
Develop and document standardized test methods and processes to ensure repeatability and productivity
Apply lessons learned to the improvement of test procedures
Work under minimal direction
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
Cumulative 3.3 or higher GPA
Experience with previous internships andor research and development projects
Willing and able to travel up to 25-50% of the time both domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
An active U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Experience working in a lab test flight test or similar test environment
Experience with test planning and execution
Experience operating and/or maintaining aircraft (e.g. student or private pilot license aircraft maintenance experience etc.)
