Entry-Level Flight Test Engineer

The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) Organization is looking for an Entry-Level Flight Test Engineer in Berkeley MO for the F18 and F15 flight test programs.

Position Responsibilities:

• Plan Author and Coordinate various modifications across different teams and different sites

• Work and manage different programs concurrently

• Support the maintenance team with flight preparation sheets as required per maintenance

• Support distributed test operations as required

• Plan and coordinate flight test mission requirements with responsible engineers from internal and external customers

• Develop flight test and mission profiles develop and publish test plans create flight test cards and manage test schedules

• Identify and coordinate the availability of test ranges and facilities with company and government agencies

• Establish test planning working groups plan and conduct flight test readiness reviews and conduct pre and post-test briefings

• Conduct ground and flight tests in accordance with established test plans and procedures

• Participate in post-test data evaluation and problem identification and resolution

• Prepare and publish test summaries and test reports

• Lead and prepare for remote site deployments

• Develop and document standardized test methods and processes to ensure repeatability and productivity

• Apply lessons learned to the improvement of test procedures

• Work under minimal direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

• Cumulative 3.3 or higher GPA

• Experience with previous internships andor research and development projects

• Willing and able to travel up to 25-50% of the time both domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• An active U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

• Experience working in a lab test flight test or similar test environment

• Experience with test planning and execution

• Experience operating and/or maintaining aircraft (e.g. student or private pilot license aircraft maintenance experience etc.)
