Title:Apprentice Network Engineer

Contract Type: 2-year FTC Full-Time 35 hours

Salary: 25275 per annum

Reporting Office: London Stratford

Persona: Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working)

Our Enterprise Network Team designs runs and protects the connectivity across offices branches data centres and cloud. We provide secure resilient and high performance connectivity across the organisation ensuring colleagues and services remain available and protected.

L&Q are offering an exciting opportunityfor an aspiring IT professional to join our organisation as aNetworkEngineer Apprentice. You will complete the Level 4 Network EngineerApprenticeship alongside combining hands-on experience with will workalongside experienced Network and Security Engineers to learn how enterprisenetworks are built secured and maintained. This apprenticeship is ideal forsomeone with a strong interest in IT and networking who is ready to developtechnical and professional skills in a supportive environment

Your impact in the role:

Contribute to business performance and customer service delivery whilst operating in line with L&Qs values.
Develop and maintain networking infrastructure ensuring high availability performance reliability and integrity in line with Service Level Agreements set by management
Work collaboratively with product teams business development and support teams within IT to ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner
Keep up to date with developments in new technologies and where it can be of use to L&Q working with partners to commission Proofs of Concepts to demonstrate business value.

Apprenticeship details:

You will complete a Level 4 Network Engineer apprenticeship with QA: Network Engineer Level 4 Apprenticeship Course

The entry requirements for the apprenticeship are:

An A Level in ICT or
An IB at Level 3 in ICT or
A BTEC Diploma in IT

You will also need to have obtained GCSE Grade 4-9 (A-C) in English and Maths
