Job Summary:
Provides leadership direction and guidance in all areas of human resources management ensuring that the activities support the accomplishment of hotel and department goals and objectives by recruiting developing motivating training and maintaining a competent work force. Also prepares the hotel policies and procedures and manpower budget.
As Director of Human Resources we rely on you to
- Leads and champions achievement of goals of the Human Resources Division.
- Follow through all actions required by the General Manager
- Take actions on all matters related to recruitment training and staff discipline.
- Oversees implementation of required training sessions and related activities.
- Fully committed on embracing and implementing the Guiding Principles of the Shangri-La Strategic Plan.
- Practices and role-models the Guiding Principles and the Core Values of Shangri-La Hospitality.
- Be environmentally friendly reduce waste recycle when possible and reuse whenever applicable.
What we are Looking For:
- At least 3 years as HR Manager in a similar size hotel.
- Self-starter Team-builder Goals-oriented
- Tactful and sensitive to Colleagueneeds
- Financial Knowledge
- Effective Training skills
- Exceptional presentation and grooming
- Proficiency at an intermediate level with Microsoft Word PowerPoint
