One of Central PAs first schools dedicated exclusively to meeting the needs of children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is looking for school-based Behavioral Health Technicians. This position is ideal for behavioral health professionals (e.g. paraprofessionals RBTs or Paraeducators) who are passionate about providing hands-on educational and therapeutic services for children and adolescents with ASD.

As A Behavioral Health Technician You Will:

Work alongside a team of behavioral health professionals providing therapeutic services for children and adolescents in our structured school setting
Implement the behavior plans & programs working with students teachers
Maintain professional relationships with the clients family and community partners
Provide hands-on support for clients in Activities of Daily Living (ADL)

Education Experience And Training Requirements For Behavioral Health Technicians:

REQUIRED - High School Diploma
Preferred - Bachelors or Associates Degree in Social Work Psychology Counseling Special Education or other Human Services related field
Previous experience working with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other behavioral health disorders (as therapeutic support staff paraprofessionals personal care assistants (PCA) special education teachers aides etc.)
