We are seeking an enthusiastic skilled and committed Sociology Teacher to join the successful Social Sciences faculty at a high-achieving secondary school in Dorking Surrey.

This is a Full-Time Permanent Position starting in January 2026 (or sooner).

• Teach Sociology primarily at Key Stages 4 and 5 (GCSE/A-Level)

We Are Looking For:

• A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
• A proven track record as an excellent Sociology Teacher with essential experience teaching the subject to Key Stage 5 (A-Level).
• Strong subject knowledge across core sociological concepts theory and research methods.
• A genuine passion for the subject and the ability to inspire high levels of engagement and critical thinking.
• A collaborative mindset committed to contributing positively to departmental planning and student success.

Salary and Benefits

• Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for England (Excluding London) (currently 32916 - 51048 for 2025/2026).
