Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Music lessons across the secondary curriculum (KS3 and GCSE/A-Level) focusing on theory history and composition.
- Lead and support the schools extensive co-curricular music program (e.g. orchestras choirs ensembles).
- Contribute actively to whole-school productions and performances managing resources and rehearsal schedules effectively.
- Provide targeted academic guidance to individual students pursuing Music at a higher level.
- Assume pastoral duties actively supporting the welfare system within a student group.
Requirements
- A strong degree in Music and demonstrable success teaching academic Music up to A-Level (QTS/PGCE valued).
- Proven ability to manage a classroom effectively balancing practical and theoretical instruction.
