Key Responsibilities

• Plan prepare and deliver engaging Year 1 lessons across the curriculum
• Support pupils literacy numeracy and personal development with a focus on progress and confidence
• Create a safe inclusive and nurturing classroom environment
• Monitor and assess pupil progress providing constructive feedback and next steps
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure the highest standards of teaching
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support learning and wellbeing
• Participate in school events professional development and extracurricular activities

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 ideally Year 1
• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum assessment and differentiation
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Enthusiastic adaptable and reflective practitioner
• Commitment to inclusion high standards and pupil success
