Job Summary

Hourly Range: $26.15/hour - $39.23/hour (dependent on years of experience unionized)
25% Perm Placement Fee

The Lab Technician is responsible for the collection and processing of customer specimens and the performance and evaluation of a range of clinical laboratory tests to assist in the diagnosis and monitoring of customer treatment. Customers may include infants children adolescents adults and geriatrics.

Additional Shift Details:

Weeks 1 and 2 1145-2015 Monday-Friday

Week 3 0800-1630 Monday-Friday

Week 4 0800-1630 2 weekdays (may vary) and 0800-2000 Saturday-Sunday

Opening shifts will be required as needed 0630-1500.

Basic Qualifications:

Education:

Associate degree in medical laboratory Technician or Laboratory Science from an accredited institution required or bachelors degree in medical technology or Clinic Laboratory Science from an accredited college/university or equivalent education and laboratory experience to qualify under CLIA guidelines required - Required

Experience Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Clinical lab experience - Required.
Knowledge of CLIA Federal and State regulations - Required
Must be detail oriented - Required

Licensure and Certification:

ASCPA/NCA certification or eligibility - Preferred

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
Weekend Requirements : Every 4th Weekend
On Call Requirements : No On Call
