Speech-Language Pathologist- Day Shift Location: National City CA 91950
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $1680 - $1855; (Negotiable based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients with speech language voice and fluency disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practice.
- Provide therapy to improve communication skills cognitive-linguistic abilities and swallowing function.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses therapists and families to coordinate care.
- Educate patients families and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulations and facility policies.
- Participate in discharge planning and provide recommendations for ongoing care or therapy.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current and valid SLP license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- CPR/BLS Certification (Required).
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting (e.g. hospital SNF outpatient).
