Job Summary

Speech-Language Pathologist- Day Shift

Location: National City CA 91950

Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week

Weekly Pay Rate: $1680 - $1855; (Negotiable based on experience)

Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients with speech language voice and fluency disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practice.
Provide therapy to improve communication skills cognitive-linguistic abilities and swallowing function.
Collaborate with physicians nurses therapists and families to coordinate care.
Educate patients families and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulations and facility policies.
Participate in discharge planning and provide recommendations for ongoing care or therapy.

Qualifications:

Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current and valid SLP license.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
CPR/BLS Certification (Required).
Previous experience in a healthcare setting (e.g. hospital SNF outpatient).
