Job Summary
Job Description Provides patient care in an emergency setting reflecting initiative flexibility and responsibility with minimum supervision. Triages safely rapidly and accurately. Communicates with physicians about patient status. Must be willing to cross-train in other nursing departments as the need arises. Qualifications & Skills Current California RN license BLS ACLS* and PALS* certifications required with 2 years recent ER experience preferred and operating knowledge of Electronic Medical Records preferred. Must pass nursing medication test. Must be able to effectively communicate in English; both verbal and written. Must have good interpersonal skills and interface professionally tactfully and respectfully with patients staff the general public and governmental agency reps. Basic computer skills required. *If not ACLS and PALS certified new hires must obtain the required certification within 90-days of hire.
Shift: Night Shift must be open to work some weekends 4343 block schedule
