Job Summary

Job Summary:The Surgical Technician assists with surgical procedures in scrubbing duties. Responsible for preparing for procedures and assisting operative team including preparation and maintenance of sterile supplies. Housing available depending on availability (walking distance to hospital). What Youll Do:Create and maintain a sterile sterile items for contamination before the need for equipment and supplies before the case all equipment is functioning before and maintains mechanical electrical and air powered equipment according to manufacturers all surgical procedures and understand the special needs techniques and requirements of the individual to scrub specialty surgeries without the presence of a sales representative including sports medicine and RN with completion of operative charge and recording of hardware used during specimens and cultures by verifying source and correct tissue identification with surgeon.
