Job Summary
Overview
Join our client as an LPN Wing Supervisor where you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality care for residents. This position offers a supportive environment for new graduates and experienced nurses alike with a focus on teamwork and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Carries out the medical plan of care under the direction of the RN Supervisor
- Oversees the Nursing Assistants care of residents
- Administers and records medication and treatments
- Accurately transcribes physicians orders
- Completes monthly summaries and updates care plans
- Notifies RN Supervisor of significant changes in residents condition
- Assists physicians with rounds and examinations
- Supervises and directs resident care by nursing assistants
- Documents weights vital signs and incident reports
- Maintains a clean safe and healthy environment
Schedule and Shift Details
- Night shift with a differential of $0.75 starting at the beginning of the shift.
Qualifications
Required
- High School/GED
- 1 years of experience in ANY of the following:
- Skilled Nursing Facility Care
- Senior Care
- Home Health
- ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
- American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
- ALL of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Pennsylvania (PA)
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Pennsylvania (PA)
