ETL Test Automation Engineer

ETL Testing (able to write complex queries)
Prefer UI Automation or Database automation.
Autosys (Jobs scheduling/Batch processing )
Agile Methodology
Unix (for files or logs checking)
Can work independently with minimal supervision

Job Description: Lead the end to end testing activities across multiple teams in large projects with tight timelines Experience in test case management tools like qtest HP ALM Octane etc. Experience working on different testing artifacts such as test strategy test plans test cases test evidence test approvals etc Working knowledge of JIRA and other agile frameworks Experience working with different databases and writing complex queries Strong experience in working with upstream and downstream integrations Defect tracking and management in JIRA Strong organization and collaboration skills to work with cross functional teams Generate various metrics and reports to communicate progress status risks and dependencies Define and track success metrics for the QA deliverables Technical BA/BS (Engineering Computer Science Math) Required skills: Experience in Software Testing Expertise with one or more Hadoop technology(Hive Impala Spark SQL) Able to write Unix commands and execute them Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester using SQL Database ETL technologies Strong experience in writing complex SQL queries using Joins Ability to document and troubleshoot errors Working knowledge of test management software (Ex: qTest JIRA) Familiar with the life cycle of projects (SIT UAT) Hands on agile experience Work collaboratively with the development team for defect triaging Excellent verbal and written skills to include advanced interpersonal and proven presentation skills Ability to manage competing priorities on an ongoing basis Ability to be self-directed to complete assigned activities
