Job Summary

This is a remote position.

MDSearch is seeking bilingual Psychiatrists (English/French) to conduct virtual Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) and consultations for military veterans and RCMP members experiencing anxiety depression PTSD sleep disorders and chronic pain.

The Psychiatrist will meet with patients from Quebec and Nova Scotia assessing eligibility for medical cannabis and providing trauma-informed mental health evaluations. This role offers flexibility autonomy and the opportunity to support Canadas veteran community through entirely virtual care.

Compensation:

$500$750 per IME

Key Details:

Work Setting: 100% Virtual
Schedule: Minimum 1 day (or 2 half days) per week or equivalent of 10 patients/week
Patient Volume: 34 patients/hour

Requirements:

Licensure required: Candidates must be licensed to practice in either Quebec or Nova Scotia.
Bilingual in English and French
Experience working with members of the military community preferred
Background in trauma-related mental health (PTSD anxiety depression etc.)
Experience writing IMEs is an asset but not required
