This SharePoint specialist role requires a candidate with a comprehensive technical skill set emphasizing proficiency in SharePoint development Power Platform cloud technologies advanced SharePoint Online administration and strong solutioning designing and architecting skills. Leadership and collaboration skills remain crucial for effective team dynamics.

SharePoint Development

o Proficient in SharePoint Online custom solutions including SPFx for client-side development.

o Extensive knowledge of SharePoint 2013 migration and integration.

o Utilizes Patterns and Practices (PnP) for best practices and reusable components.

o Extending SP functionality using low code solutions.

o Creates Power Apps and workflows using Power Automate seamlessly integrated with SharePoint.

o Implements Power Platform components for enhanced SharePoint solutions e.g. custom list forms.

DevOps and Cloud

o Applies DevOps methodologies for optimized lifecycles.

o Proficient in Azure Functions and other Azure services for cloud-based functionality extension.

o Version control proficiency using Git.

Information Architecture

o Designs effective data structures taxonomies and metadata in SharePoint Online.

o Configures and customizes Microsoft Search for optimized content discovery.

o Expertise in SharePoint Information Architecture optimizing site structures and metadata.

SharePoint Online (SPO) Expertise

o Advanced understanding of SharePoint Online including administration and configuration.

o Implements SPO security best practices and governance frameworks.

Solutioning Designing and Architecting

o Leads end-to-end solution design for SharePoint and Power Platform projects.

o Applies architectural principles for scalable and efficient solutions.

o Designs collaborative solutions emphasizing document management version control and integration with Microsoft Teams.

o Stays current with SharePoint trends including SPFx PnP Copilot SharePoint Premium (Syntex) and Microsoft Viva Connection.

o Provides leadership in guiding technical teams and mentoring junior developers.

Required Skills:

Hands-on working experience architecting Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions including customization and integration. Guidewire certification is a technologies of interest: Guidewire Cloud Salesforce CRM legacy modernization and AWS. Proven knowledge & architecture experience in architecture (digital / digital marketing / micro / macro / monolithic services APIs) application integration service-oriented architecture event-driven architecture application architecture distributed architecture data architecture and experience with modelling languages & techniques. Can quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies. Can understand the long-term (big picture) and short-term perspectives of situations. Strong technical background (platforms languages protocols frameworks open source etc.).Experience with architecture frameworks (TOGAF) & architecture certifications a in engaging and supporting claims teams and understanding their day-to-day operations in the P&C insurance space. Open and clear connect with the business telecom infrastructure security audit vendors and software engineering.
