About the Role

This position will be located in the plant in Niederösterreich in the electrical sector (enclosures/power distribution components).

Contract Type: Full-time permanent employment contract

Location: Schrems Austria (on-site)

Responsibilities Overview

Ensure quality of product Develop and manage internal quality processes and documentation Carrying out process-related checks in accordance with instructions and working on various projects. Promotion and representation of customer interests within the organization
Manage customer quality documentation
Develop and manage internal quality processes and documentation
Carrying out process-related tests in accordance with test instructions with the associated test equipment
Coordination with suppliers/supplier complaints
Demonstration of improvement activity CI
Authorization to intervene in all areas of production if errors occur (including stopping production)
Decision on usability and conformity of parts
Ongoing improvement of efficiency and effectiveness (process indicators/departmental targets)
Further development of the ISO 9001 management system
Support of the management system for ISO 14001/ ISO 45001 / ISO 50001 / ISO 22301
Monitoring compliance with existing/new/changed customer requirements
Identification of possibly affected shipments during transport to and from customers or suppliers
Knowledge in MSA FMEA SPC APQP DoE welcome
Supporting the implementation of Six Sigma projects
Carrying out incoming goods inspections
Carrying out process audits and process monitoring
Collecting and implementing (new / changed) customer requirements in co-operation with the specialist departments
Collaboration and realization of pro-launch projects
Planning and carrying out training courses in connection with new / changed customer requirements in collaboration with the specialist departments"

Requirements

We would like you to bring:

Technical education
At least 3 years experience in Quality assurance
Knowledge of different quality norms and standards (ISO etc.)
Six Sigma methodology"
Excellent command of German is a must (B2 level minimum); English language on B1 level sufficient communicative level
Strong project oriented teamwork
Structured approach to complex task areas
Open for novelties and suggestions
Simply explain complex technical things
Knowledge of Quality Management Tools (Ishikawa Pareto SPC ..)
Knowledge of Project management (APQP)

Required Skills:

We would like you to bring: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Masters preferred but not required) Excellent command of German is a must (B2 level minimum); English language on B1 level sufficient communicative level Experience in electrical design preferably in LV switchgear panel building or system assembly. Strong understanding of low voltage electrical systems protection devices and control circuits. Knowledge of international electrical standards (IEC 61439 UL 508A etc.) welcome Experience with testing equipment and measurement tools
