SHIPPING SUPERVISOR

Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience in Shipping

Able to work most Saturdays and some Sundays (50 hrs/week)

Past experience managing people

Great attendance

Highly motivated

Position Description:

Read and analyze work orders production schedules and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs

Inspect materials products or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions

Ensure products are loaded on the trailers correctly and in a timely manner

Demonstrate equipment operations and work and safety procedures to new employees or assign employees to experienced workers for training

Observe work and ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards

Motivate and manage a large group of employees

Interpret specifications job orders and company policies and procedures for workers

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

Benefits: Vision Medical and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
Paid Time off: sick leave vacation and 6 company observed holidays;
401(k): eligible after the 1st day of employment including company match which begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule
Base salary range of $58800 - $ 68000
This position is eligible to participate in the Companys annual bonus plan; the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
