Position Summary:
Organizes and trains Conditioning Department personnel by performing the following duties.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Learn and understand the basic forging procedure of Shultz Steel LLC.
- Enter information from various sources (paper documents electronic files etc.) into Shultz Steels databases and systems.
- Review data for errors inconsistencies or missing information and correct as needed.
- Organize and maintain electronic and paper files.
- Keep databases up-to-date by adding new information and deleting outdated records.
- Prepare reports based on data entries as requested.
- Work closely with team members and supervisors from several departments to ensure information accuracy and consistency.
- Complete assigned tasks within specified timeframes.
- Prioritize inventory for various departments.
- Assist supervisor with additional tasks to ensure accurate daily production reports.
- Continuously create improvements to the data entry process and increase both productivity and forge scheduling speed.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Ability to spot errors and inconsistencies of paper documents and electronic files.
- Basic use of computers and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Clear communication skills for team collaboration.
- Ability to manage and organize data effectively.
Experience & Education
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. Some college preferred; 1-2 years desired.
