Our customer base is composed of Restaurants Hotels Independent Delicatessens Retailers and prestigious Food Halls.
Repertoire Culinaire is part of a family-controlled group whose origins lie in the production of premium Charcuterie Foie Gras and other Delicatessen products in France.
Post description
1. Financial Management
- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable payroll and general ledger.
- Prepare review and analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance with Malaysian tax laws and international accounting standards.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Generate P&L Balance sheet Cash flow AP AR reports.
2. Compliance and Auditing
- Ensure adherence to Malaysian accounting regulations and tax compliance including VAT withholding taxes and corporate tax submissions.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and compliance reviews.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local accounting standards and legislation.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting
- Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
4. Process Improvement
- Evaluate and improve accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement best practices and ensure the integration of accounting software and tools.
- Address and resolve discrepancies or errors in financial records.
Profile required
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws financial regulations and international accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (ERP MICROSOFT DYNAMICS) and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Fluency in English.
