Job Summary
SUMMARY
The maintenance technician will conduct day to day maintenance and preventative maintenance operations on all AlloyWorkss production equipment and plant facilities. Their responsibility is to ensure safe and productive operations minimize downtime to facilitate in delivering products that meet customer and quality requirements on time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following as well as other duties that may be assigned.
- Must adhere to safe working policies and procedures
- Actively participate and support safety initiatives to ensure compliance with applicable OSHA (federal and state) company and environmental policies and procedures
- Plant mechanic with focus on preventative and repair maintenance on production machinery motors conveyors electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Install parts/instruments according to schematics or operation manual
- Follow blueprints sketches job requests code book or operation manuals
- Maintain records of PM and unscheduled maintenance work
- Order parts or supplies when necessary
- Assist production as necessary to maintain material throughput
- Assist production as needed with equipment set-ups or root cause analysis
- Actively participate and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate maintenance activities with management and production team to maximize utilization of plant equipment and operating efficiency
