Job Summary

E-logic is seeking an experienced Florida-licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) to provide comprehensive surveying services to the Polk County Land Development Division. This role requires extensive field and office work to support land development right-of-way and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

Review subdivision plats and site plan boundaries for compliance with FSS Chapter 177 and County standards. - Perform various types of surveys including Boundary Surveys Design Surveys As Built Surveys and Topographic Surveys (aerial photogrammetric LiDAR bathymetric).
Prepare Right-of-Way maps write legal descriptions and record easements.
Conduct Volumetric Calculations for material stockpiles borrow material and in-place earthmoving.
Create Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) from Airborne LiDAR data.
Review plats and plans for conformance with relevant state statutes and County standards.
Provide certification and sealing of all deliverables as a licensed PSM.

Required Qualifications:

Must possess and maintain a current active license as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) in the State of Florida.
Proven experience in various field and office survey methods (e.g. GPS LiDAR traditional ground-based). - Proficiency with necessary surveying and drafting software.
Strong knowledge of FEMA flood zone boundaries and the protocol for agencies like SWFWMD and FDOT.
