Position Overview:

As part of the talented Quality team you will be engaged in a variety of functions that include anything from daily assignments up to annual obligations. The position is mostly autonomous where you will decide the priorities to accomplish the dynamic and various tasks. Teamwork skills are a must to gain cooperation amongst the various teams within the plant the campus and the external customers. The Quality team is a centralized organization for the campus; however team members are assigned to a primary this case you will be assigned to Plant 17 our Die Cast and Lost Foam casting facility.

Essential Functions:

Participate in cross-functional walk throughs

Lead ISO9001 activities to maintain 3rd party certification

Drive completion of PFD PCP PFMEA and PPAP submissions

Interface with internal / external customers to improve current processes

Plan and adjust work priorities to meet daily weekly monthly and annual goals / metrics

Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however others can be developed along the way.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Quality or Manufacturing

  • Self driven

  • Interactive skills working with operators technicians supervisors and engineers

  • Blueprint / model interpretation

  • Hands on approach

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of manufacturing experience
  • 2 years of quality-related experience
  • ISO9001 background / experience
  • Die Casting Lost Foam Casting experience
  • Problem solving skills (Red X Six Sigma Lean)

Working Conditions:

Conditions may include heat exposure and a high ambient noise level.

Regular interaction with Operations (hourly / salary) Engineering Quality

The anticipated pay range for this position is $72000 - $115300 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job- related knowledge/skills relevant experience business needs and geographic addition to base pay this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

At Brunswick it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidates qualifications and the business context.
