Painter and Maintenance Team Member

As a Painter and Maintenance Team Member you will be responsible for painting and refinishing interior and exterior surfaces in residential and commercial properties. You will ensure that all painting projects are completed efficiently safely and to a high standard. This role requires attention to detail manual dexterity and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

What Youll Do
Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping sanding patching and priming.
Apply paint stain and other finishes to walls ceilings doors and exterior surfaces.
Perform drywall patching and minor repairs as needed.
Ensure a clean and tidy workspace protecting surrounding areas from paint spills and damage.
Match paint colors as required for touch-ups and full repaints.
Work on both interior and exterior painting projects.
Safely operate painting tools and equipment such as brushes rollers and sprayers.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to complete property improvements.
Report project progress and any issues to the Facilities or Maintenance Manager.
Be available for night and weekend work as needed for tenant move-ins renovations and emergency repairs.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What Were Looking For
Previous experience in painting drywall repair or a related field is an asset.
Ability to work independently and efficiently while managing multiple tasks.
Basic knowledge of repair tools and maintenance procedures.
Physically capable of performing manual labor including lifting bending and standing for extended periods.
Valid G license (required).
Reliable and flexible with work hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
