JOB TITLE:Maintenance Mechanic Operator
REPORTS TO: Maintenance Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: 1st Processing Maintenance Dayshift
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a good work history and attendance record
- Must have a history of safe work practices
- Must take or have taken and pass the class C maintenance test
- Must be familiar with plant safety policies
- Will be required to participate on Hazwoper team. Must pass all required test to qualify for emergency respond team. ( for examplehazwoper training pulmonary function testing and respirator fit testing)
- Must demonstrate the following basic electrical skills:
- How to use a standard volt/ohm meter
- How to use an amp probe
- Must understand and read electrical diagrams
- Must have troubleshooting skills of(3phase) electrical circuits
- Must demonstrate basic welding skills
- Must purchase an maintain the minimum tools required to work in this position
- Must be able to work 7 day rotation schedule
- Must have basic knowledge of both first and second processing plant operations
- Will perform all other work as directed by maintenance management
- Must obey all USDA HACCP an PLANT rules and regulations including safety
- Must have excellent communication skills both written and oral
