The Impact You Will Have

The Director of Strategic Accounts and Partnerships is central to strengthening Coupe Healths relationships with key distribution partnersincluding health plans third-party administrators and national brokers and consultants. Youll lead a team of Strategic Plan Managers drive partner engagement and unlock new growth opportunities across our distribution ecosystem. Youll also play a critical role in enabling partner success through training sales support and customer service coordination.

Your Responsibilities

Strategic Relationship Management

  • Cultivate and deepen relationships with health plans TPAs and national consulting firms

  • Serve as executive sponsor for top-tier accounts and partners ensuring alignment and long-term success

  • Act as a trusted advisor to partners helping them navigate Coupes offerings and maximize value

Team Leadership

  • Lead mentor and grow a team of Strategic Plan Managers

  • Set clear goals foster collaboration and drive accountability across the team

  • Champion a culture of excellence innovation and customer-centricity

Growth & Expansion

  • Identify and pursue new distribution opportunities to expand Coupes reach

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Product and Marketing to support go-to-market strategies

  • Analyze market trends and partner feedback to inform strategic decisions

Partner Enablement & Training

  • Develop and deliver training programs for distribution partners to ensure deep understanding of Coupes products and value proposition

  • Equip partners with sales tools collateral and messaging to drive adoption and engagement

  • Host webinars workshops and onboarding sessions to support partner education

Sales & Customer Service Support

  • Work closely with Sales to support partner-led opportunities and ensure alignment across teams

  • Coordinate with Customer Service to ensure seamless support for partner-related inquiries and escalations

  • Monitor service levels and satisfaction metrics to proactively address issues and improve partner experience

Operational Excellence

  • Develop scalable processes and Standard Operating Procedures for partner onboarding engagement and performance tracking

  • Monitor KPIs and report on partnership health and business impact

  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience in strategic account and/or channel management experience in the health plan or employee benefits space 3 years of management experience

  • Deep understanding of the health plan ecosystem including TPAs and national brokers/consultants

  • Proven success in partner enablement including training sales support and customer service coordination

  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills to develop high-performing individuals

  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration with sales marketing product and operations

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including executive-level presentations

  • Negotiation and contracting experience

  • Accepting this position at BCBSMN requires signing an Employee Confidentiality Intellectual Property Assignment and Restrictive Covenants Agreement as a condition of employment

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience in the alternative health plan space

  • CRM (preferably SalesForce) administrative capabilities

  • Experience designing and delivering training programs for partner onboarding

  • Experience with creating external facing reports and dashboards

Role Designation

Teleworker

Role designation definition: Teleworking is working full time remote. Hybrid is a minimum of 2 days onsite. Onsite is full-time onsite.

Compensation and Benefits

$150000.00 - $170000.00 - $190000.00 Annual Commission

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position including skills ability and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
