The Impact You Will Have
The Director of Strategic Accounts and Partnerships is central to strengthening Coupe Healths relationships with key distribution partnersincluding health plans third-party administrators and national brokers and consultants. Youll lead a team of Strategic Plan Managers drive partner engagement and unlock new growth opportunities across our distribution ecosystem. Youll also play a critical role in enabling partner success through training sales support and customer service coordination.
Your Responsibilities
Strategic Relationship Management
Cultivate and deepen relationships with health plans TPAs and national consulting firms
Serve as executive sponsor for top-tier accounts and partners ensuring alignment and long-term success
Act as a trusted advisor to partners helping them navigate Coupes offerings and maximize value
Team Leadership
Lead mentor and grow a team of Strategic Plan Managers
Set clear goals foster collaboration and drive accountability across the team
Champion a culture of excellence innovation and customer-centricity
Growth & Expansion
Identify and pursue new distribution opportunities to expand Coupes reach
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Product and Marketing to support go-to-market strategies
Analyze market trends and partner feedback to inform strategic decisions
Partner Enablement & Training
Develop and deliver training programs for distribution partners to ensure deep understanding of Coupes products and value proposition
Equip partners with sales tools collateral and messaging to drive adoption and engagement
Host webinars workshops and onboarding sessions to support partner education
Sales & Customer Service Support
Work closely with Sales to support partner-led opportunities and ensure alignment across teams
Coordinate with Customer Service to ensure seamless support for partner-related inquiries and escalations
Monitor service levels and satisfaction metrics to proactively address issues and improve partner experience
Operational Excellence
Develop scalable processes and Standard Operating Procedures for partner onboarding engagement and performance tracking
Monitor KPIs and report on partnership health and business impact
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years experience in strategic account and/or channel management experience in the health plan or employee benefits space 3 years of management experience
Deep understanding of the health plan ecosystem including TPAs and national brokers/consultants
Proven success in partner enablement including training sales support and customer service coordination
Strong coaching and mentoring skills to develop high-performing individuals
Skilled in cross-functional collaboration with sales marketing product and operations
Strong written and verbal communication skills including executive-level presentations
Negotiation and contracting experience
Accepting this position at BCBSMN requires signing an Employee Confidentiality Intellectual Property Assignment and Restrictive Covenants Agreement as a condition of employment
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience in the alternative health plan space
CRM (preferably SalesForce) administrative capabilities
Experience designing and delivering training programs for partner onboarding
Experience with creating external facing reports and dashboards
Role designation definition: Teleworking is working full time remote. Hybrid is a minimum of 2 days onsite. Onsite is full-time onsite.
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position including skills ability and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
