The Role

We are seeking an experienced Stone Mason to join our clients skilled team working on both restoration and new stone installations in Hornchurch and the surrounding Essex / Greater London area.

Key Responsibilities

• Cutting shaping dressing and finishing stone to precise specifications
• Installing stonework including facades cladding decorative and structural elements
• Repairing and restoring existing stone features
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and templates
• Working with natural stone semi-precious stone marble and other materials
• Ensuring all work meets health & safety and quality standards
• Collaborating with team members and other trades to deliver projects on time and to specification

Requirements

• Proven experience as a stonemason or similar trade background
• Strong knowledge of traditional and modern stone masonry techniques
• Competence in using a range of masonry tools and equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Valid UK driving licence preferred
