Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking two experienced and compassionate Band 7 Cognitive Behavioural Therapists or Art Therapists to join the CAMHS team at Lewisham Kaleidoscope part of the South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. These locum roles involve delivering specialist therapeutic interventions to young people and supporting a diverse caseload within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

Provide therapeutic interventions including CBT IPT-A and Art Therapy to children and adolescents
Independently manage a caseload of young people with complex mental health needs
Participate in the duty rota twice a month (or more if required) Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings
Offer clinical support and guidance to colleagues
Conduct ADHD assessments and apply trauma-informed approaches

Requirements

Professional qualification in CBT or Art Therapy
HCPC registration (required for Art Therapists) or equivalent accreditation for CBT Therapists
Minimum of 2 years experience working within CAMHS
Proven skills in ADHD assessment and trauma-based interventions
Strong communication and clinical reasoning abilities
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
