What Youll Do:
As an LPN at CHI Mercy Health Valley City you will be an integral part of our patient care team providing direct care to a diverse patient population. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering Direct Patient Care:Provide hands-on patient care to patients across various needs ensuring comfort safety and a positive experience.
- Following Treatment Plans:Possess and/or actively seek the knowledge required to meticulously follow medical and nursing plans of treatment and care for each patient.
- Performing Assessments & Treatments:Conduct patient assessments perform various procedures and administer treatments accurately and efficiently under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Accurate Reporting & Documentation:Maintain precise and timely documentation of all patient observations care provided and any changes in patient condition.
- Ensuring Safe & Confidential Care:Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and maintain the utmost confidentiality of patient information at all times.
- Collaborating with the Team:Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team communicating essential patient information and contributing to a cohesive patient care environment.
- Continuous Learning:Remain current with best practices in nursing care and actively participate in professional development opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredit school of practical nursing.
- Licensed Practical Nurse: ND (LPN:ND)
- Basic Life Support - (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
