- Provide high-quality behavioral health services to patients with a variety of psychological andmedical conditions within the OU Health system
- Provide consultation to other healthcare professionals regarding the psychological aspects of a patients mental health medical condition or hospitalization.
- Attend and collaborate with other healthcare professionals in team rounds didactics and meetings
- Provide supervision to psychology practicum students interns and post-doctoral residents
- May participate in a variety of academic opportunities including clinical research and education of trainees in psychology and other medical disciplines
General Responsibilities:
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: PhD or PsyD in Clinical Counseling or School Psychology from an APA-accredited doctoral program is required.
Experience:
- Completion of an APA-accredited internship is required
- 2 years of experience includes training required.
- Specialized training in psychology including a postdoctoral residency/fellowship and experience working on an interdisciplinary team in an integrated healthcare setting preferred.
- License/Certification/Registration: Licensed as a psychologist in the State of Oklahoma required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Be eligible for faculty appointment at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
- Have knowledge of evidence-based psychological assessment intervention and consultation.
- Have an interest in training/supervision of trainees in psychology and other disciplines.
- Experience in neuro-developmental cases is preferred.
- Experience in feeding disorder cases is preferred.
- Have experience in research program development and/or quality improvement.
