The Johns Hopkins All Childrens HospitalPediatric RN Residency is dedicated to providing a 12-month foundational program for the graduate or otherwise eligible nurse to provide the support and knowledge to grow into a competent pediatric professional practitioner.

The NICU includes 97 beds and cares for Level II-Level IV patients

The team in our neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) is dedicated to treating infants who need the highest level of care. Led by a team of more than 25 neonatologists experienced in treating the most challenging cases our NICU has a Level IV designation from the American Academy of Pediatrics the highest level available. This designation means that our NICU team provides the most advanced life support and monitoring technology for premature and critically ill infants.

Working in the NICU at Johns Hopkins All Childrens Hospital has been such a fulfilling journey. Witnessing the resilience strength and growth of the tiny humans in which we care for is such a rewarding and inspiring experience. The atmosphere is filled with support and compassion as the healthcare team dedicates each and every day towards providing incredible patient specific care for these little fighters. Shifts: 36 hours per week (Nights)

Work Location: St. Petersburg Florida

Start Date: March 9th 2026

Who Should Apply:

BSN from an accredited School of Nursing preferred. Applicants with an Associate Degree in nursing will be considered and must obtain BSN within 36 months of hire

Registered Nurse (RN) Required. Florida State or Compact License required

No experience in health care required but is preferred

BLS certification provided by AHA

Johns Hopkins All Childrens Hospital RN Residency Program is accredited with distinction as a Practice Transition Program by the American Nurses Credentialing Centers Commission on Accreditation in Practice Transition Programs.

Salary Range: Minimum 35.02/hour - Maximum 35.02/ will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
