Job Summary
- Management of supplier development projects (existing and new suppliers incl. qualification)
- Evaluation and auditing of suppliers
- Evaluating and optimizing the suppliers work processes
- Conduct improvement workshops with suppliers
- Technical guidance of suppliers in the manufacturing process
- Support of suppliers in the implementation of a Quality Management System
- Clarification of escalated complaints from day-to-day business
- Participate/ lead design to cost and cost down initiatives with suppliers
- Supporting involvement of suppliers in new product developments
- Control of internal and external resources in the supplier development project
- Evaluation of reports and data collected by incoming inspection (Quality)
Qualifications :
- Degree in engineering manufacturing or industrial engineering
- 5 years of relevant experience in a global company
- Certified Quality Representative or Auditor with strong knowledge of quality management methods
- Deep understanding of production processes (e.g. turning milling coating welding stamping)
- Solid grasp of purchasing manufacturing and quality management workflows
- Proficient in MS Office especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong project management and Lean Management skills
- Team player with a customer-focused mindset
- Skilled in coaching training and workshop facilitation
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
