Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) team. The RN will provide high-quality evidence-based care to a diverse patient population with acute and chronic conditions. This role requires strong clinical judgment excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with physicians interdisciplinary teams patients and families to ensure safe and effective care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized care for assigned patients.
- Administer medications treatments and therapies in accordance with hospital policies and physician orders.
- Monitor and document patient progress vital signs and responses to interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding conditions treatments and ongoing care needs.
- Maintain patient safety and infection control standards.
- Serve as a patient advocate and uphold professional nursing standards at all times.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program BSN required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred (may be required within 612 months of hire).
- At least 2 years of Med/Surg or acute care nursing experience required
- Must have passed the NCLEX
