Main Ingredients of the Job!
SCHEDULE: DAY Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoot diagnose rebuild replace and complete all required repairs on diesel reefer equipment (THERMO KING & CARRIER TRAILER REFRIGERATION SYSTEMS Reefer Microprocessors etc.).
Perform preventative maintenance within manufacturer standards.
Mentor other maintenance shop personnel.
Receive road calls assign third party vendor and work with business partners on plan of action.
Utilize fleet maintenance software system tablet to fully document equipment repair and parts used.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations and government guidelines.
Willingness and capacity to assume increased responsibility and certifications.
Other duties as assigned by manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must have 3 yearsof verifiable hands-on experience as a Fleet Reefer/Refrigeration technician. TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certifications.
Must be willing to travel and attend training provided by US Foods.
Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to reefer equipment repairs.
Successfully demonstrated independent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must furnish own personal hand tools.
Ability to read and understand technical and online service manuals.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to comply with EPA and OSHA & DOTregulations as pertaining to the shop and fleet.
Computer and software experience/ Noregon Diag Equip/A/C Recovery Etc.
Able to repair and overhaul warehouse equipment.
Welding ability
Valid Class A CDL license and DOT certification
